Do You Need A Piano Valuation?
An insurance company may insist on the issuing of a valuation report when your piano is specified in your short term insurance policy, or when you submit a new application for insurance of your piano. In such cases you may make an appointment to have your piano assessed, during which a certificate will be issued to you for insurance purposes. It is important to note that insurance companies may refuse to cover damage to pianos if they are not in possession of such a certificate, issued by a piano tuner who is a member of the
South African Association of Professional Piano Tuners.
We can help if you would like to purchase a second hand piano from a private seller, or if you would like a second opinion on a piano that you intend to purchase from a dealer. Let us do the valuation for you. Read more on
